While many of us believe that all diamonds are white or clear, this is in fact not true.  Many diamonds have varying shades of yellow in them, but in some cases the colour is rarely visible to the untrained eye.  Here we discover the details around how a diamond’s colour is identified and graded.

Diamond Clarity

The beauty of a diamond is often admired, not only for its ability to sparkle and shine, but also for its rarity.  However, most diamonds will have some "birth marks" that may decrease their value.  These defects are referred to in the “Four C’s” as “clarity”.  Here we discover what clarity means.

SETTINGS

Over the years there has been a hot debate about fluorescents in diamonds.  While some people believe it is a negative attribute to this precious gem, others see it as quite the opposite.

Hearts and Arrows Diamonds are available in round and square cushion cut  diamonds.

H&A is the term used for Super Ideal Cut diamonds that exhibit a complete and precise Hearts and Arrows pattern.

Hearts & Arrows diamonds have three distinguishing factors – perfection in polish, symmetry, and proportion.
